The topping-out ceremony for the Perigon project in Hamburg Winterhude, the construction of a student residence, youth project and children's card centre, took place on 18 September 2024. In 2018, our partner BBI started with the site investigation, prepared the subsoil expertise, provided geotechnical advice and excavation planning and supervised the dewatering. GuD was also responsible for the structural dynamics.
Construction of the building started in 2021 and the client for the project is WOHNKOMPANIE Nord. In addition to the managing director of Wohnkompanie and the buyer, State Councillor Monika Thomas, Head of the Department for Urban Development and Housing (BSW), gave a speech on the ‘Gateway to the northern Pergolenviertel’ as one of the major urban development projects in Hamburg. The building comprises 18 storeys and offers living space for 500 people. It also has a high standard of sustainability.
