The residential building with 18 upper floors and 2 lower floors will be erected at a lateral distance of about 15 m to a subway tunnel in Peking. To increase the load capacity a ground improvement was planned. Activities to reduce the vibration and the secondary airborne noise immissions from the subway traffic have been required.
